Polypropylene carbonate (PPC), a copolymer of carbon dioxide and propylene oxide, is a thermoplastic material. Catalysts like zinc glutamate are used in polymerization. It is one of the most premising environmentally friendly plastics. Polypropylene carbonate is used to increase the toughness of some epoxy resins. It is used as a sacrificial binder in the ceramic industry, which decomposes and evaporates during sintering. It has a low sodium content which makes it suitable for the preparation of electro ceramics like dielectric materials and piezoelectric ceramics. Composites of polypropylene carbonate with starch (PPC/starch) are used as biodegradable plastics.
Product form could be pellet, film, aqueous dispersion/emulsion and Solution. Its key benefits include: offered in wide range of molecular weights, excellent adhesion and improved lubricity, co-firing in any atmosphere without oxidation, excellent green strength, complete and clean burnout at low temperatures, products of combustion are only carbon dioxide & water, excellent viscosity properties (in ink/paste systems)
We can provide PPC plant to abroad. The number-average molecular weight of PPC using our technology reaches about 100,000, achieving the most advanced level in the world.
