We are Isobutyl Acetate Technology Provider and today we will introduce the technology of Isobutyl Acetate Production.
Isobutyl acetate, an esterified product of acetic acid and 2- butanol, is a colorless transparent liquid at room temperature. It dissolves with ethanol and ether, dissolves in water, flammable, and has mature fruit flavors. It is mainly used as a solvent for nitrocellulose and lacquer, as well as chemical reagents and spices.
Isobutyl acetate has the typical properties of ester, including hydrolysis, alcoholysis, ammoniation, Grignard reagent and alkyl lithium addition, catalyzed hydrogenation and reduction of lithium aluminum hydride (lithium aluminum hydride), and the condensation reaction of Claeson ester (Claisen condensation) itself or with other esters. Isobutyl acetate can be qualitatively detected by hydroxylamine hydrochloride (NH2OH. HCl) and ferric chloride (FeCl). Other esters, acyl halides and anhydride will affect the inspection.
