Development Prospect of Ethyl Acetate

In recent years, the world's production capacity of ethyl acetate is increasing. In 2001, the global production capacity of ethyl acetate was only 1.25 million tons. In 2006, the production capacity increased to 2.22 million tons. In 2008, the production capacity increased to about 3 million tons, an increase of about 15.4%.

From the ethyl acetate process technology, which uses acetic acid esterification of the production capacity of about 67.5% of the total production capacity, the use of ethylene about 11.0%, the use of acetaldehyde accounted for about 17.8%, the use of ethanol dehydrogenation of about 2.5%, while about 1.2% of the use of polyvinyl alcohol by-product production and so on.
