The Main Features of MTBE Production Technology

There are some main features of MTBE production technology.

1.Raw material adaptability is strong, can use FCC, ethylene production, isobutane dehydrogenation, olefin isomerization, olefin dehydrogenation, coal and other carbon four raw materials, according to raw materials and product requirements to choose the best technology.

2.Low energy consumption, due to the use of a unique comprehensive utilization of heat technology, energy consumption than the traditional MTBE production technology to reduce more than 20%, compared with the domestic industry technology to reduce more than 10%.

3.Product purity is high, oil-type purity of more than 98%, chemical purity of 99% or more, MSBE ≤ 0.2%, can be used for the preparation of high purity isobutene cleavage.

4.Isobutylene conversion rate is high, ether carbon tetraisobutylene ≤ 0.3%, can be used as methyl ethyl ketone raw materials or selective hydrogenation after the preparation of butene-1 and so on.

5.Environmental pollution is small, the normal operation of the scene without sewage, emissions.
